oh no....

...I'm watching a programme on E4 called "Hollyoaks - The Good, The Bad & The Gorgeous... it's like a compilation of Hollyoaks' best bits... Which was fine until it just showed a clip from the episode where Max was mown down by Niall and killed on his wedding day and I just got emotional.

Oh Max and OB. The best comedy pairing in British soaps ever.

Went out for drinks and indian with the girls tonight(oh and Dave, Cary, Dixon & Ben). T'was nice.

Picking the boy up from the airporto tomorrow. Uber Excited....

I just really liked this...

This was at the Clothes Show and I just really like it. It started with Use Somebody by Kings of Leon being sang all acousticy. It might have been Pixie Lott as I have heard her do it but I cant be sure and then it merged into the Kings of Leon version as the dance progressed and I just really liked it so thought I would share a bit with yous. xx

December then....

Weeelll... this is in back to front order because I still havent learnt about adding pictures on this damn thing but oh well.

So Christmas day was nice... the boy got me this...

A Hello Kitty toaster which prints the face of Kitty on the toast haha. Its amazing! He also got me a book I used to read when I was a kid. He's good at remembering things... In general he's just good.

Ma & Pa totally outdid themselves and got me this!

I REALLY needed it. I think they got it because of that fact and because I had borrowed my Ma's old one and she basically wanted it back hahah.

Then our house got this as a joint present from our friend Laura. ALSO amazing.

(It's a toilet seat cover)

Hello David, Hello.

I took Brodie into town and we went shopping and looked at the lights and then went to the City Gallery where they had a kids activity day going on and we made decorations for the tree out of glitter ribbon feathers and laminating papers.

Me and the girls all took a trip to London to do a bit of last minute shopping and looking at lights and visiting my boss in the London office. Managed to buy loads. Including a nice green pair of Vans. Awesome.

And it snowed and me and Lar felt well festive walking down Tottenham Court Road. Got to Oxford Street and it had gone and was replaced with wetness and giant puddles.

Went to Winter Wonderland on Hyde Park or something. Was OK. But it rained.

On my birthday my ma's friend made me this...

She also had made me one when I was little. And I always went on about it. So she did me another one. WICKED. It was filled with M&Ms.

Went to the work Christmas do in Brum. We had Michael McIntyre & The Sugababes hahaha.
I like the Sugababes, I dont so much like Michael McIntyre... But he was ok, wine was £1. I got drunk. Anything is ok when youre drunk... Well I dont condone EVERYTHING but you know what I mean ahaha.
Had the "christmas fuddle" in the office. I had never heard the term "fuddle" before. I still prefer plain old BUFFET. It was nice though. Got some slipper boots for secret santa. Theyre amazing.

Went to the Clothes Show... the stalls and all that for clothes were a bit shit and tacky but the vintage bit was awesome and then when I had seen a few catwalk shows it was good. My ma took me it was nice to spend some time with her.
The main show was so amazing I was lost for words. Dancing. Clothes. Hot men. Hot girls. Glitter. Lights. All of it. Oh and Reese from Hollyoaks though to be fair he seemed well up his own ass so no...

But there was Gok Wan, Ferne Cotton and Dave Berry...
I don't like Gok Wan either. Remember your roots Gok. Leicester born and bred. Oh yeah my dad told me your brother can do a one inch punch. Thats pretty sick.

and thats that folks. All in all a lovely time. Unfortunatately the boy has nipped off back to Belfast to see his family for Christmas but will be back on tuesday so all is good.
I think I had the best family Christmas which I didnt really expect because normally its just me my ma my dad and brother Joe. But this year we had my auntie and her boyfriend for dinner and Nan and Gramps and Brother Joes mate Ben because his parentsl ive far and he didnt have enough time off work to go home to them. So it was really fun. Next doors came over. I got drunk and we played games and had a sing song and a strum on the old guitar.
Nice one. Thanks to my family and friends for all the fun and games and presents and love.
Thanks to the boy for the toaster I will now be amused by toast as long as it lasts. LOVE IT. xxx
Sooo... I've been so busy over the Christmas period that I have had no time to blog at all... So I thought I would first of all let you all know what cupcakes I have been making over the festive period and then blog again to let you know whats been going on overallllll... yep.

So... the boy asked me to make some cupcakes so that he could give some to his sister in law for christmas... So I went to town... Guinness chocolate cakes with vanilla butter icing and various christmas shenanigans going on on top...

Wreaths...

Snowmen (that look a little bit like penguins...)

Stars...
Christmas Trees...

All together now...

And in a pretty box with christmas ribbon etc...

Then Picto asked me to make some for his ma being as she loved them so much last time... he had pretty much the same but Mary isn't a great fan of buckets of icing so I made these ones Chocolate Guinness cupcakes with the same icing but no christmas trees and replaced those three with no icing but a splodge of nutella to ice on top. Once again... In a pretty box with nice ribbons...

Also because these cakes were all baked in the boy's kitchen as a change of scenery one morning whilst all the boys were around to watch the football I made them some pretty glittery cupcakes to munch on to make a change from all the doritos and dips.
Ta daaaa...

So pretty much all Christmas have been making Christmas cakes like the ones above for presents for my housemates familys and my family and my friends. I have worked flat out... So on Christmas day I got very drunk on Smirnoff Nordic Berries blue vodka... if you havent tried it... try it...its amazing... and then slept til boxing day evening. LOVELY.
Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and that Santa brought them everything they asked for!!!

Sooo...

Birthday tomorrow.

In case anyone is wondering I would appreciate finding at the end of the bed when the morning comes (a bit like christmas just less christmassy) a big St Bernard dog. in fact...scratch that... I would like it as a puppy so I could appreciate it like that and then see it grow and change hahah .... the boy in a bow... just the bow.... maybe some kind of dapper hat just for laughs... a nice cake with candles in it... thats the shame about being "the cake maker" you never really get cake! I think really thats all I want. Oh and some GHDs as my hair without them is a big frizzy mess. Try that with a big fat fringe. not a good look. SO. Although most of you do not know me.... take heed and send the above items forthwith!!

Thanks! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry for the delay...

Picto's vanilla cupcakes with vanilla butter icing white holographic glitter snowflake and candy cane sprinkles and white chocolate coins to finish it all off nicely...

The boy's raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes with vanilla butter icing festive red and green glitters and christmas cake topper things my ma so kindly gave us...

Picto's gingerbread cupcakes with vanilla butter icing and gingerbread men sprinkles.

Worth the wait ain't it. xx

Bribery cakes for work ...

So i decided to give an icing masterclass today with my two favourite boys...

I was making bribery cakes for the teams at work so I enlisted them to help and to do something fun...

Here's picto painstakingly icing gingerbread cakes...

And here's the boy making trees...

The finished tree result... (i was secretly very impressed with him)

Havent got the other pictures on here of Picto's efforts yet. But I will and it is in no way shape or form a reflection on his icing talents. Though I do believe he is much better at PIE. Love him xxxx

All is festive in Bitsy's world...

So I made Peter Schmeichel into an angel for the boys tree. Because this is what I do... Make cute things for people I love.
BUT.. Nothing will beat the original and best... Zippy. Coming out to play at Dulverton Palace for the second year running...
This is how pretty our lounge looks like... and totally beats the boys if there was a real fire... so he wins there but still. I got radiatorssss! In yo' face!
This was the boys. But it did it no justice... the picture of ours is better because Gabby took it with her Ipod phone. My phone/camera anything is shit so it comes out like this.... or I have to take it with flash. And then its shit.. But its still lovely to go there and sit by the fire with the tree and stuff. Gorgeous.
Got festive at work...something to do...

Me & Burt getting festive with the pink tree..

So thats how its been of late.
Merry christmas and all that.

Keep your eye out....

I went here last night.

http://www.theblindtiger.org/

There's not much on the blog... but hopefully there will be... but they got facebook and what.

Anyone in Leicester ought to go to the Facebook page and sign up. Its truely delightful. Beautiful food. Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful music. Beautiful chefs. Beautiful hosts.

In general PLAIN OLD BEAUTIFUL. (thats a good thing in case anyone thinks its not. this is just how I speak)

We stayed late and even got a glimpse behind scenes! Felt a little bit priviledged.

These are the cakes I made last night for Anna & Dave's wedding today. I went to the gorgeous City Rooms to set them up this morning and this is what happened. I thought I would take pics as I went along to show what went on.
They requested choc guinness cakes with a silver and burgandy theme. And ta da. It was my first wedding and I was well nervous but the boy came and set up with me and calmed my fears. I would like to thank my mom for helping me friday with cleaning up and stuff and making me endless cups of tea and going to get me stuff if I ran out. And I would like to thank the boy for getting up really early on a saturday morning even though he had been out with his football boys friday night and making sure I didnt fall apart!
The photos dont do it justice. They looked so pretty and looked lovely set against the other wedding tables.
Congratulations Anna & Dave!!! Hope you liked them!!!!!
After setting up the cakes me and the boy went Christmas tree shopping for a real tree, felt really wintery and had such fun. What an overall awesome day. The tree looks beaut. The garland over the fireplace looks beaut, and the roaring fire is beaut. Happy days!
Clothes Show tomorrow. Nightttt xxxxx
