FABULOUS NEWS....

I bought a dress ages ago... even stretching to a year ago maybe... and it was too small. But it was so pretty I thought... "No way is that going back!" So I kept it.

Well today is a good day.

Because... today it fits. If anything... Its kinda loose.

Is anyone out there....?

England (well Leicester...) is killing me.

How many readers do I have??? 75? If everyone put £10 into a charity pot for me... I may well be able to take a trip somewhere or at least buy myself something pretty. I am so down and feel like I cannot get out of this hole. I just want to be away. AWAY I TELLS YA.

How many people read this? I'm sorry if you are one of the unfortunate that do. I used to be funny. Now look at me ahahah.

Help. Help. Help.

HELP.

M.I.A

Yep that's me. Sorry.

I'm down and would rather not discuss it and bring all of yous down so as usual I will keep it to myself.

Someone please buy some cupcakes. I am so poor. I mean so poor I raided my piggy bank and bought a can of diet coke with my last 50p made up of 5p's. All that's left is coppers now. And not even much of that.

I am offering WORLD CUP cupcakes now. 6 for £10. Choose your cupcake and then I will ice the flags of any country you want on top. You know it makes sense...

If you don't buy them you know all I am gonna do is sit at home and cry. My head hurts from all the crying. It'll be all your fault if my head explodes. You hear?!

I am the girl that eats her feelings.

I am a fat mess.

Goodnight. x

Soup...

...Without bread is like a world without sunshine.

Think of me when you have a glorious lunch.

As this is what I will be eating for the foreseeable future.

Much Love,
An extremely poor and horrendously fat Bitsy xx

CD Exchange of Awesome-ness

Remember a while I ago I participated in a CD swap with a lovely lass called Claire well... I got my stuff from her! It has been a while and its my own laziness that I have reported this late! Sorry Claire!

Here's what I received.

A cool looking envelope on my dining room floor when I got back from work! Sure made a cool change to bill this, bill that!!

A really cute little card with a wee note in about how cool it was to be part of the exchange

And then the two CDs came in this super cool little booklet thing that Claire had made!

I was totally overwhelmed by the packaging alone! It was sooooo cool! I felt a bit bad that mine was a bit second rate! But at least I know for next time what I need to aim for! Never under estimate how crafty/arty/talented/thoughtful people are!!

I did take a picture of the CDs I dont know why. I think it was because I had one of them in the stereo in the kitchen and the other one in the stereo in my bedroom.

They are crammed with the most awesome songs. And although some stuff I may well have not picked myself I love it all which has opened my eyes to a lot of things and some stuff, well! I was amazed because it was totally stuff I would like!

Thanks so much Claire! When I get some time I might even send you some other stuff just because its nice to have a little bit of a penpal hey!!

If anyone knows of any more of these snazzy little exchange things please tell me because it was the first one i did and I really really enjoyed it! It really made my day to receive such lovely things!

Again, Claire, thank you so much!! xxx

Cookies...

If Lar doesn't make me any cookies this weekend I think I am going to beat her with her own shoes.

"...But the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes."

Weekend Things...

Well this weekend was one of the nicest in a while...

Friday I had a half day from work. Spring cleaned the entire house and made it pretty then I totally chiiiiiillllled. I relaxed. I showered - long time. Pedicured. Manicured. Intensively conditioned my hair. Full on scrubbed/exfoliated/steamed/moisturised. Caught up on Sky Plussed TV. Chilled in PJs. Watched a shit movie. Ate a potato. That kind of thing.

Then Saturday I went to the boy's. He made me rice and chicken for lunch. We walked in the sun to the bookies drinking purple Rubicon - the best kind - and made bets on the National and the football. I'm not normally a massive gambler (if you do not include the national lottery or scratch cards...) but I get ever so excited in the bet shop! My friend Darran works there and he hates me coming in because of how excited I get and the fact that I am full of betting questions that he cant be bothered to answer. Haha... Shame.

Then we came home and played Home & Away

* Home & Away *
A drinking game played whilst watching the football scores come in.

You choose whether you are "home" or "away".

(Say you choose "Away") Every time an away team goal comes up on the scores you drink.

You choose a team you will drink a short for if they score. (eg. Man United)

If Man U score down a short.

If you play non league also - this is where it gets silly - when checking the computer for non league its ridiculous. Every 5 mins.. Char there have been 12 away goals non league. Drink 12! Oh and 5 league away goals. Shiiiiiiiit.

Jeff Stelling Of Football Scores Fame
Lar ♥'s Him
Matt Bateman ♥'s Him
Well in the whole 90 mins of football scores or however long... I had pretty much downed 6 bottles of corona and was feeling a little bit worse for wear... I really only need to drink three to be a bit drunk so yeah. Its 5pm and I am drunk.
Such a lush.
The boy won £17 by picking the Grand National winner. I won... NADA. Great.
We were gonna go pick up his winnings but got round the corner and saw Zod and Dave outside the Londis so just chatted to them for a bit and then by that time Darran had finished work so we just went back home. I sat in the garden reading a magazine smelling next doors BBQ. Nom nom nommmm. The boy was watching more football. I was totally out footballed at this point.
Football scores. Chelsea game. Barcelona game.... Meh.

But between the Chelsea game and the Barca game the boy and I snuck off and he made up for being an ass previously and then I randomly half sober half drunk made everybody a lush dinner of pesto stuffed turkey steaks, roast potatoes and mange tout, green beans and peas with chopped bacon and mushrooms and then after the Barca game made our excuses for bed and it all fell into place. I can never stay mad for very long.

I think football is ultimately more fun if you a. bet on it and b. fool around in the breaks hahah

Sunday morning was nice, woke up early to cuddles and stuff then the boy went off on his merry way to play football and left me in bed. I watched Hollyoaks for a bit and then text Lar and told her to come meet me for breakfast. I like doing this. Met up at the London Cafe and compared our evenings. Lar and Katy had managed to get so violently drunk that they were making their way home at 11pm and Katy was puking in the street. Very un-Katy like.

Lar had been texting me not actual messages of words just letters the night before so I knew, even though she was hammered the night before she was in bed before 12 so would be up to come meet me. Hahaha. She scrubs up well hungover too. I, on the other hand, do not.

We went home. We finally watched FEED. I wish I never had. I wish I could wash my eyeballs out with soap. Do not watch this. The boy is now a newly proclaimed a hole for even suggesting I should watch this disgusting disgrace of a film. Although he is right, it does suppress your appetite haha.

Then Kamrun came around. We sat in the sun in the garden I told her of the weekends gossip then we went back to hers to meet the boys and watch some more football URGGHH and then go watch them play Sunday night football. Which I will be honest I actually love. And they won and the other team were such bad loser ass holes it was really good to watch them win. HA.
Boy from other team: Your team is really crap. Your team is soo crap.

Steve from our team: Really? Oh. I forgot we were beating you 3-0.

Boy from other team: What did you say?! Do you want me to bang you out?

Steve from our team: Disapproving look and no words.

Boy from other team: I could bang you out....mumble mumble...your teams so crap...mumble mumble.... *cries to his mummy*....mumble mumble....

Shame HA.

Then watched Lost. But I had a headache and was falling asleep so I really need to re-watch.

OH! And in other news when I got home from Lost watching I checked Ebay to see if I had won what I secretly oh so hoped I would win and WOO I WON!

Guess what I won.... For me and the boy... In May.... For cheaper than what you could buy originally.... I spoke about my desire for this here... Here's a clue....

Amazing...

I knew there was a reason I loved my friend Matt Bateman...

In response to my earlier mood post... He popped to mine after work and brought me all this to cheer me...

His first words when I opened the door...

"I've brought carbs"

P.S....

The Chawner Family....

Oh boy... makes you proud to be British doesnt it.

Mushroom soup at work is not nice....

I am being super healthy at the moment... and by super healthy I just mean I am trying to not eat the world...or my feelings... so I am being healthy. In our house we say "we're on health". And we dont do things by halves. Normally we count calorie of everything going, eat only vegetables and the odd bit of prawn or chicken, do exercise, join gyms, buy a wii fit board, watch diet programmes. But I am in it for the long haul this time. I am still doing all of the above... minus the only vegetables thing...because lets be fair noone can go on like that. Although a bonus to me is that I love love love veg, especially anything green, so I can eat a tonne of it. But I am making healthy things like veg in tomato sauce with brown rice and things and eating a breakfast of ryvita and philli light and eating soup for lunch that kind of thing. I have the odd slip up here and there but I am trying to train myself to not see this a complete failure and eat a whole cake but to simply say "oh no you've eaten 27 biscuits... you must now not even so much as look at a biscuit for 7 days!" You know, that kind of thing hahah.

AND! I have not had a chocolate bar for a WEEK! (bear in mind I did have one of Rachels guinness chocolate cupcakes mentioned below... but still its not a chocolate bar... and for those that dont know me THAT my friends is what keeps me alive!) SO a week for me is proper hardcore. I let the boy know last night that I had not had any chocolate and he congratulated me. Then I told him I also thought I was falling apart inside body and mind because of this fact and that I didnt think I could go on... so he kindly said that tonight he would have a chocolate bar and give me 2 squares. AND its GOLDEN CRISP. AND its his last one! Thats the kind of boy he is. Nice and thoughtful. WHEN HE WANTS TO BE. (there are times when he can be such a nob, but thats by the by and I think hes awesome anyway... flaws included.)

ANYWAY... I digress... so I'm on soup again today although I can smell everyones food in the office and someone had a chip bap and the chips smelt so good and she had mayo and cheese on the chips... BUT I stayed strong and I avoided the canteen and went to the coffee shop instead for soup and a roll. And it was mushroom soup and I LOVE LOVE LOVE mushrooms... so much so that my friend Mark calls me a mushroom perve... but then again he cant stand mushrooms and he calls anyone that eats so much as one a mushroom perve... but its HORRIBLE. And I am not a picky picky eater. But I cannot stomach it. Its fresh and its blended. But not very well. And the only thing that I am picky about if LUMPS. mashed potatoes... lumps? NO TA. I dont know what else comes with lumps... (well apart from NEXT mushroom soup) but I am pretty sure I wouldnt like it. So disappointingly I cannot eat the soup.

So I have been and brought a pack of french fries... only 97 cals dont you know... and a muller cherry yogurt. All set. F. you soup. (sat on the desk taunting me...git)

I am trying to curb my swearing. I am a disgrace. I apologise in advance. I am changing all swears for the first initial. I have decided. Especially around the office. I think people think I am funny a bit but you only need one person who is new and doesnt like it and it can open up a whole can o' worms.

Yesterday I made a big cake... Not a massive cake but a big cake for me... for a girl at work.... And I didnt like it. NOT one little bit. I am nervous about big cakes. They frighten me a bit. I am not comfortable with them. It looked alright (pics to come) but I still felt like it was the enemy. If it had a name it would have been Paul. Even though it was pink. It looked like a paul and was shifty and if it could look it would have been sneering at me. Shooting the evils. I hate Paul.

** I apologise if you are called Paul... or know someone called Paul... or if your dad/brother/uncle is called Paul... Its a generalisation. I dont even know anyone called Paul. Except Paul Daniels... well I dont know him but I think hes a bit weird...**

SO, last night Paul caused me a bit of heartache just because he was being a general s. And the boy also caused me a bit of heartache. Also being a general s. The boy and a cake. A pair of idiots. I bet he's never been compared to a cake before. Well I may have said he's yummy like cake but never compared him to a bad cake. Hmph to the boy.

He was coming for tea and I was making a thing with chicken veg chilli low fat natural yogurt and rice. (He's tryin to be healthy too) to be honest that day I didnt really fancy it but I had said I would make it and I thought he would really like it because he likes spicy. and I had text him in the day to say "you still on for dinner yo!" you know, that kind of thing, but he didnt reply but I didnt think owt of it because sometimes hes with people all day at work and doesnt even look at his phone... BUT ANYWAY... I start stressing because the kitchen is a state and I have to make Paul and I kinda wanna go hang out at the bar and play the quiz with the boy and have dinner and stuff. SO I manage to get out of work half hour early and convince ma to pick me up we drive to the local cooperative stores and purchase ingredients for dinner and then she drops me off. I start tidying and start panicking that I look like s. So I need to do something about that before he comes over etc etc. AND I still have to bake paul.

As I am washing up I think... if the boy texts me and says "can we leave it" I will not be fussed. BUT. At 6pm. 6! SIX. he texts and says in response to my 3pm text... "Oh I forgot, I have pasta sauce that needs eating so gonna have that".

ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Forgive me if I am wrong but this upset me a bit. I'm not irrational. I'm not a permanent a. hole. I'm not one of those clingy girly girls. BUT! have the decency to apologise.

SO I burst into tears (its that time...) and have a little sob whilst washing the pots (I think it was the stress of creating Paul which also contributed to this little outburst) I decide not to text him as I am too mad at the fact that sometimes he is a thoughtless a. hole.

The later I calm down a bit and say "I'm not mad about tonight. I was a bit upset at first but nevermind, Im just saying Im not a monster, If you had just said at any point in the day 'i dont reckon I am up for later' it would have been fine. Don't treat me like an idiot. I'm not mad just a bit meh etc..." there was more but its boring to you out there...

but the point is he text and said he was sorry he was being thoughtless and crap. and he would make it up etc etc. So thats lovely.

**THIS POST IS LONG... SOZ**

So then I made Paul... and in a way wanted to scream at him. But he's done and I will NOT be making a big cake again. NO.

Then I watched fat families, biggest loser & diet tribe with gabby topped off with some SATC reruns and then went to bed happy.

So all is not lost.

If you dont watch fat families. You should do. Google it. Its funny.

OH! Funnier is Lorraine Kellys Big Fat Challenge... With the Chawner family. The huge girl that auditioned for Xfactor - her family. Its truly disgusting. And funny. But only because they are so fat and in no way prepared to even help themselves and just expect to live off benefits because they are too fat to work and they need to fund their junk food diet. Truly disgusting.

Its been ages since I typed about what was happening in my world so I thought I would.

I really enjoy reading everyone elses... not to say that any of you will enjoy reading mine... but least I get to vent I guess.

If you do read and have got this far without falling asleep. MANY MANY thanks. You deserve a medal.

I will send medals.

Keep your eye out....

I went here last night.

http://www.theblindtiger.org/

There's not much on the blog... but hopefully there will be... but they got facebook and what.

Anyone in Leicester ought to go to the Facebook page and sign up. Its truely delightful. Beautiful food. Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful music. Beautiful chefs. Beautiful hosts.

In general PLAIN OLD BEAUTIFUL. (thats a good thing in case anyone thinks its not. this is just how I speak)

We stayed late and even got a glimpse behind scenes! Felt a little bit priviledged.

BOO.

Apparently there was an "early flood" as opposed to a late one at work this morning. It must have been from a tap because I havent witnessed any rain... and it means the restaurant will be limited today. WHYYYY. On a day where I feel like I could eat and eat. Theres no salad bar and probably only jacket potatoes. Hmph. Probably a good thing. Then I wont be able to eat. I'm not having a jacket potato. No.

I dont like eating. Especially at work. It makes me sleepy. I like eating with the boy. Maybe I should only eat when with him. Then the way things are at the moment I will not be eating much. Say hello to thin-ness. Marvellous.

THIS!

Is the amazing cake I mentioned this afternoon... (first things first...I did not make this...someone very very talented did. One day I am gonna do copy in homage to it though! Wait and see!)

How awesome is it!??!? In case you dont know I collect tea pots. I am a coffee drinker. Not really a tea drinker. But I love tea pots. And I love tea parties. And quintessential Englishness of it. Not that England is actually like that. But I wish it was.

Me and Gab are watching Supersize Vs Superskinny. Some bloke has lost 9 stone! And still has a way to go! If we lost that we'd be skeletal!! Good on him!
